Hi everyone. Been a while. I hope you're all doing better and making your way through the process - or even to the other side of it. If you're ever struggling, please send me an email. I'm here for you.
I know it’s been a while since I’ve written an article - that’s just how things are when you get past it. It doesn’t affect you. You don’t think about it. You go on with your life. I still have some things I want to write about, including how to perform a DIY expungement, but I’ve been asked this question a lot lately - Do I need a lawyer for my first DUI?
I’ve always been in the camp of “anything larger than a speeding ticket” needs a lawyer’s assistance and while I wasn’t thrilled with every aspect of mine, I think they helped out tremendously.
But I want to hear your opinions, your thoughts, your experience.
Did you hire a lawyer? Did you brave it yourself? How did it go? Do you regret it?
Send me an email, I’d love to hear what happened to you.
Stay safe,
Tom
Think a public defender would’ve worked out the same deal, you end up paying a lot for thinking you have a chance when you really don’t
